Anyone here had a #Mycroft? I have the Mark1 which was lovely. A very basic home assistant running on a #Raspi3 with a cute face and a very robotic voice. But it was great. You could load skills and ask it questions.
A while ago, Mycroft AI shut down their servers and Mycroft fell silent. This was not good.
However, the open source voice community has picked up the baton and I'm told that whilst it'll never be Mycroft again, there are ways to bring it back to life.
There's nothing that is off the shelf in terms of install this and it'll work again, but I think that if I'm prepared to get my hands a bit dirty, then I should be able to install something that'll connect to my Home Assistant and hopefull light up Mycrofts eyes once again.
