I lool forward to the rate of CGT being raised to reflect how much these people have propered at the expense of the less fortunate.....

As government plans more #housing, rents rise 8.6% in a year
#Inflation is currently 2% - and house price inflation 2.2%
Presumably the #rackrents will excuse their exploitation by claiming it is down to higher mortgage rates - in which case rents will of course fall when interest rates drop.... (sarcasm!)

At least with the #windfall tax on oil companies they put a fake one into "force" - but with #renting reform..... nothing!
