  1. Reflecting on the sad passing of #QuentinWillson, I’ve been thinking of the time that I was hanging around outside the main building at one of the #FullyCharged shows. Quentin popped out for a quick cigarette break. Out of politeness I pretended not to have noticed him, but one other visitor was much less discreet and called out at him “Stop Burning Stuff!” - a double reference to smoking and to one of the many campaign groups he founded in his career stopburningstuff.org. He took it in the good humour with which I think it was intended. But it does mean that while I was surprised to hear he’d died relatively young, I wasn’t at all surprised it was lung cancer that got him. RIP
