Successful weekend project (rare for me - as not a coder, and don't use AI for it as enjoy the wrangling).
Wrote a Node js script that i can trigger from a button on my desktop that reads my #publii database and randomly selects and toots an article from my blog. hardest bit was pulling the tags and alt text.
promise not to over use ;)
of course as soon as anything in all this gets changed, it will be hosed but fun to make.

@ernie.tedium.co This is something I've been curious about as well... In the past, I tested out Authorizer.dev for log-in, and was able to "gate" a static page made in #Publii: https://github.com/authorizerdev/authorizer/issues/213#issuecomment-1214664620

The next step is connecting a payment processor to the user db, but I haven't solved that piece yet.

@copiesofcopies Please! I’d welcome advice both from a user experience/reader perspective as well as different tools and approaches.
I’m currently using #Publii for CMS on the regular blog side of things, and I’d mostly imagined just doing more of that, but welcome ideas.
Also if you have thoughts on the “just getting yourself to do it” front, that’s also something I’d be delighted to hear from others on!

I'm currently rebuilding my website. It's amazing what you can do with #Publii. It's still my favourite static website generator.

I started with one of my projects, the #NeXT #SoundBox mini. I tweaked the #CSS and custom #JavaScript. I think I can use that as a basis for the rest of the website. 😃
