My CFL Today’s Picks (Week 11, 2026 Season)

Well Football fans we are past the halfway point of the Regular Season in the CFL. At this point we have almost all the contenders that we need to contend for the coveted Grey Cup in November. However, there is still a couple of months of football action in the Regular Season so its not quite over yet. Lets check the latest standings in the CFL, by starting in the East. Montreal continues to reign supreme in the East Division with a record of 8-1. The Alouettes are 4 games better than Toronto (4-4) and 5 games better than Hamilton (3-6). Ottawa is still winless at 0-8 for now, but I believe at somepoint this season they will win at least 1 football game, right? Well in the West Division what do we have here? It is a tight race between Saskatchewan (6-2) and Edmonton (6-3). There is also a good race for 3rd place in the West between Winnipeg (4-4) and Calgary (4-5). The BC Lions are only 3-5 and believe that they are in it for sure. So the West is so busy it will be hard to determined who will get a playoff spot out of this. I guess we will have to watch more CFL Football for ourselves until otherwise. Well It is time for our latest picks in the CFL, so here we go:

My CFL Today’s Picks (Week 10, 2026 Season)

Well it is almost time for more football north of the border and into the country of Canada. The Canadian Football League is rolling along so far as we are almost among the halfway point of the season. We have witnessed some outstanding plays in this great league form all phases of the game from offense to defense to special teams as well. I am even starting to like the goal posts in front of the end zone. It makes teams be a lot more aware down around the goal line. Well in the standings, I think we have pretty much have all the contenders that we are gonna have. In the East Division: Montreal has a commanding lead in the East with a record of 7-1. Meanwhile both Toronto (3-4) and Hamilton (3-5) are still in contention for now. Ottawa is having one rough season as they are still winless at 0-7. Its a different story in the West Division: As the Edmonton still tops that division at 6-2. Saskatchewan is right behind them at 5-2 and is not going away anytime soon. There is a great battle for 3rd place between Calgary and Winnipeg at 4-4 each. Only one of them could reach the postseason in the end, but we have plenty of football left to be played this season. Then there is the BC Lions at 2-5, who really need to turn there season around in a hurry before it is all lost in 2026. Well It is that time for my picks for this week, and here it is:

My CFL Today’s Picks (Week 8, 2026 Season)

Well football fans are you ready for more football north of the border? I certainly am but the matchups are getting better considering it is only 9 teams. I hope there is future expansion on the way. No news on it at this time, but that doesn’t mean there is something behind the scenes. There have been a lot great plays in the special teams portion in the CFL. I have become a fan in the return kickoff/punt for a touchdown. Well lets take a quick look at the standing shall we? In the East Division: Montreal continues to be out and front of everyone else in the East. Hamilton is 3-3 currently, while Toronto is kind of struggling at 2-4. Poor Ottawa has yet to find the win column as they are currently 0-6. In the West Division: its a close race so far with Edmonton barely leading the West at 5-1, Saskatchewan is right there near the top at 4-1. Don’t forget about those Blue Bomber of Winnipeg at 4-2. Calgary is a team that we can’t seem to figure out. They score a lot of points but give up about the same amount points to there opponents. Calgary is at 2-4 currently, while the BC Lions are at 1-4 and need to figure out a way to pick up there play or it might be a lost season for the Lions. Well it is that time for my latest picks in the CFL:

My CFL Today’s Picks (Week 7, 2026 Season)

Well another week from north of the border and getting some CFL football action this weekend. There was some good games going on, but once again I cant gain access to them. I have to settle for the highlights unless otherwise. Oh by the way, they have fantasy football in the CFL, even I didn’t know about that at all here. Also they have a pick em’ contest on CFL football games. The link if you are wondering is http://www.gamezone.cfl.ca if you want to participate in this contest. By the way in the standings in the CFL. We still have 1 team that is still winless on the season. The Ottawa RedBlacks are now 0-5 in the East Division. Meanwhile, Montreal looks primed and ready to runaway from everybody else in the East with a 4-1 record. Both Toronto and Hamilton are tied for 2nd place at 2-3 so far, although both of those teams would make the playoffs by default. In the West Division, its a different story there. Saskatchewan and Edmonton are tops in that division with a record of 4-1. Winnipeg having a fine year so far at 3-2, but stuck at 3rd place so far in the season. Calgary is not out of it, in spite of a record of 2-3 and in 4th place. The BC Lions have only played 4 games so far in the season. They are only 1-3 for now, but its not completely over as we reach mid-July. Now it is time for my latest picks in the CFL:

@bc3tech I see your point. But the players (and their advisors, including doctors) seem to want #grass everywhere, because there's more cushion and it's easier on their whole bodies, not just their joints. Having never played #ProFootball, I'm inclined to accept their reasoning. #NFL #PlayerSafety
