  1. I used the University of Leeds' Prime 750 computer (then very new) in 1980 to write a programme in, if I remember correctly, Fortran 77. The editor I used did not automatically number lines and the default to move from one line to another was to type, eg, -7, if you wanted to move 7 lines up.

    Does anybody recognise this editor. Could it have been "ed"?

    If you know people with an interest in 1980s minicomputers would you mind boosting? Thanks.
