MA/RE #question for the community at large: has anyone done any updating to the technical information found in #PracticalMalwareAnalysis from #NoStarchPress?
The theory in the book is still golden. I am more curious about changes between, for example, the Windows XP technical descriptions and default OS behaviors when compared to today's OS. I know there are many and that list is very long. Additionally, I know outdated operating systems are still out there, but if there are any updated summaries I could jump to after I finish this cover-to-cover push I would like to.
