#whatIf there was a law mandating that one must not sell products with a lower price than its fair trade or eco friendly competitor products?

Like, eco bananas would never cost more than the non-eco bananas.

The global south doesn't seem to see the point about waiting an eternity for affirmative action to hypothetically have an effect. #India is going straight out for #PositiveDiscrimination: a minimum #GenderQuota of 1/3 of parliamentary seats (federal + state) - voted 454 in favour, 2 against [1]. Still some legislative hurdles to go, however, including upper house + ratification by at least half the states [2].
