(Not so much) Fun with #javascript.
Experimented implementing drag from scratch, for #desktop and #mobile.
Needs #PointerEvent, not mouse/touch.Want setPointerCapture on the initiating item to avoid pointermove on every element to follow it around.
I waited for the first pointermove event before I called setPointerCapture. Works great on desktop. Fails on mobile.
Took me hours to find: call setPointerCapture immediately at pointerdown and all is fine. Don't ask.🤦♀️ 😕
