Had a conversation with a pinside mod who affirmed that transphobia is acceptable because "it's not political", and saying anything against transphobia IS political and needs to be deleted for the sake of the #pinside community.

@Constababble @ifixcoinops yesterday on #pinball forum #pinside I encountered someone who actually boasted that they worked for the Heartland Institute and him and his buddies were using the forum to spread denialism propaganda.
Was classic rightwing ideological walls: no matter the studies tossed out, they would ignore everything you say and snidely retort with some isolated contextless datum, endlessly gishgalloping in classic propagandist style, unconcerned with coherence.

@Austin_Dern called it. Pinside often has high stats on a game when it first hits the Top 100 then people rush in to add their detractor opinions, but I do not see that happening here. The fricking PRO debuts with an 8.927???

I kind of bought a #prewar #pinball machine out of spite?
On #pinside I have almost every prewar pin on my wishlist because I wanted to get any market updates. Guy messages me saying he has a Five Star Final Jr for me in Alberta if I want it.
He sends me pic 1, which seems familiar. I subscribe to the Curiosity Inc YT channel (it's a guy in Edmonton who runs an antique store) and I dug through a recent video, see pic 2.
