While looking for something else last night I found these silver pennies. I can't remember how I coated them or when. It's either a nickel or silver anodizing. Probably too much free time at work around 12-15 years ago when we were playing with silver. Kinda interesting looking.

Well it seems that Panda Express has changed their policy. They kept my pennies again today (side dish) and I asked to speak to the manager, hoping to make my point that they're keeping two cents when she scolded me for keeping one.
But it was a different manager, who said they'd give me a nickel back, shortchanging themselves three cents!
I thanked her profusely and said what a nice change in policy this is. Not expecting it to be consistent, but we'll see.

I had my first encounter with a retail #PennyPolicy today. I don't think these are going to go over very well... at all!
A regional coffee shop chain no longer takes - or gives - #pennies as #cash at the register. Each customer's total bill, after taxes, is rounded to the nearest #nickle.
If the last digit comes out to less than 3 #cents , they round down to zero. If it comes out as 3 or more cents, it gets ronded up a notch.
Paying by #card? They charge you the 'correctly calculated' total.
