Pleasant and comfortable ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning, this time riding via Johnson Street and then onto Swanson into the city. While it may have not been the safest route, the people driving cars at the time were respectful and kept their distance.

First ride to #Melbourne CBD for work for the new year was very pleasant and comfortable. Weather was enjoyable - no breeze and the sun was not too hot. Had a quick stop on the way. Rockstar parking as usual. 🚲👍😀

The rains overnight got me to choose riding on the roads to #Melbourne CBD this morning. The ride was quick and didn't seem to have many cars around me the time I was travelling. Not sure if people are away or the weather got them to work from home.

Back on the bicycle after 2 weeks off. Felt great to ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning as the sun was out and there were many other people riding their bicycles too. Was not feeling the best for 2 weeks and took public transport instead. Cost over $100.

Cold ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning, and while my chest, arms, and legs were fine (even while wearing shorts), my fingers were cold as I was wearing the fingerless gloves I usually ride with. No matter - got to work fine. 🚲👍😀

On my way to work in the #Melbourne CBD, I figured out I needed to stop for a coffee #quax. Some places you go don't mind you actually walking your bicycle into their premises, but I'm guessing as long as you don't bother anyone. Awesome rockstar parking.

Quick ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning taking the main slightly damp roads, and stopping for a #quax along the way. Was able to get parking right next to the front door, but it was a strange bicycle rack. All good. In and out quickly.

Surprisingly warm morning to ride a bicycle into #Melbourne CBD via the Main Yarra Trail. Some rain had happened on the roads and paths just before I left, but not enough to saturate the ground. Strong headwind wasn't enjoyable, but still a nice ride.

Comfortable ride into #Melbourne CBD, taking the main roads and stopping for a quick quax along the way. Got rockstar parking out the front of the place again. Meanwhile, there was a queue of cars across the street waiting for the car in front to move.

Cold morning ride to #Melbourne CBD. Thankfully I had a jacket and a neck gaiter on, so the overall ride was comfortable. Legs / knees didn't feel so bad. Still better than being in a car stuck behind other cars. 🚲😀👍

After a few days off the bicycle, as my eldest was coming into work with me on the tram, it was great to ride into #Melbourne CBD again. I should have been more prepared to get his bicycle ready, but we still avoided using a car. Good weather to ride in.

Another really nice day to be riding a bicycle into #Melbourne CBD along the main Yarra trail. I feel it could have been t-shirt riding weather, but I kept the jacket on, as by the time I felt "too hot" I was almost at the office, and just put up with it.

Beautiful winter's morning to ride into #Melbourne CBD. Sun was out. Weather was borderline warm. Was also good to see many other people riding their bicycles along the main Yarra trail. Hopefully it will be this nice for the ride home in the evening.

Quick ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning, taking a mix of roads and bicycle paths. Was very pleased to see the amount of car traffic quite low, and the few that were left were very respectful when attempting to overtake me. Need to beat the rains home.
