So yeah, thorns. 2 weeks of sat on the sofa with my head torch on and a pair of tweezers pulling them out of my hands. Don't trip into thorn bushes yeah? What happened at the end of 2025 after Northern Ireland. uuuh.... a week or so of recovery, and then trying to get some pace back into my legs for the Percy Pud in December. I had just over a month to recover, train and taper for the first weekend in December and run on my 10k pb course. In theory I had all the aerobic capacity I […] -

柏林半馬｜刷PB距香港紀錄僅38秒 羅映潮：對爭亞運資格添動力
柏林半程馬拉松上周日（29日）舉行，港將羅映潮跑出1小時12分48秒，寫下個人最佳成績 （PB），更與香港女子半馬紀錄僅差38秒，在42,000名選手當中以第32名完成賽事。以超過2分鐘的時間刷新PB，羅映潮指成績對於力爭名古屋亞運資格注入動力，她又透露5月將出戰香港田徑錦標賽，期望屆時繼續保持狀態。

由ASICS Hong Kong冠名贊助，Joyous Events主辦的ASICS Kumamon Run 2026 HK將於今年5月3日（星期日）於沙田科學園舉行。今屆賽事除了延續1公里親子樂及3公里體驗組，更將挑戰組由上屆8公里升級至10公里，賽道首次延伸至大埔，並申請成為中國香港田徑總會認可賽事，跑手成績將獲得田總官方認可，為喜歡破PB的跑友帶來更具意義的「熊本熊紀錄」。

Club championship today. It's mainly athletics (spear, disc, high jump, far jump, sprint) wich is not my thing. For outsiders like me they incorporate a 3k as running distance. I participated last year so besides helping out in the jury I ran the 3k again this year. Contrary to my belief, but in line with Garmin's prediction I substantialy improved my PB 😁.

We're renovating our porch roof. After removing the aluminum siding, we're concerned that the painted wood underneath, which is peeling, may be covered with lead paint, and that the dust and flakes may contaminate our garden and house. We're planning to test the paint this morning.
Has anyone discovered lead paint while working on their house exterior? Got any tips or resources?
