Saw a reel about people comparing the money they've spent on Steam. Checked my numbers - since January 2007, I've spent $2368.11 and played for about 2285 hours. Which is about $1.05/hour playing value and that's pretty cheap (especially considering there's at least a double digit number of games that I've paid for and never played. Whoops.)
(The reel people were nearly into mid-5 figures. Which is ... a lot.)

My LGS started having #pauper #magic tournaments. Small for now, but hopefully it will grow bigger. Went 2-1 with elves and had a blast. I had at one point over 100 elf tokens and ~500 life. Anyway... I kind of bought a lot of commons this week 😅 #mtg #magicthegathering

CW: MtG Pauper
I played Green Tron and went 1-3.
Round 1, 2-0 vs Boros Synth. My opponent got a bit unlucky and I did the thing. Game 1 went long because of some enchantment for W that he put on my Maelstrom Collosus causing it’s damage dealt to gain him life. Cascaded into Expedition Map twice 🙃
Round 2, 0-2 vs Ninjas. Sketchy keep that did nothing g1, then he had countermagic every turn game 2. Cascaded into Map and Chromatic Star 🙃 🙃
Round 3, 0-2 vs Goblins. Got combo’d and died, game 2 had a clutch board wipe in response to a bushwhacker but opponent rebuilt in 2 turns and I died. Match took about 15 minutes.
Round 4 1-3 vs Delver. Grindy fun games, just needed one more turn.
Sometimes you get unlucky but I also had some sketchy keeps. Need to mull more aggressively, it’s tron after all.

@AggressiveRhetoric Oh I love #pauper too! Haven't played it in a long time though. I also tend to play #mtg aggressively... but without skill so lately I try to play creatures with vigilance to offset my hasty mistakes hehe.
