The Passbolt Windows App version 2.2.0 introduces custom fields that allow users to attach additional key‑value pairs to a resource or even a standalone custom field resource.
The feature runs on our encrypted-metadata layer, which is in beta and available only on self-hosted instances until it becomes stable in Passbolt 5.4 (August 2025).
