Yes, Jo Luxton (Lab) is the current MP but won the seat in the 2020 election when Labour reached the first ever single party MMP majority. The seat has historically been a National Party stronghold.
The important thing to remember is your electorate vote decides electorate representation while your #PartyVote decides the government.
