Here's a case study (marketing document) of PAK’nSAVE's use of Auror, mainly covering number plate recognition. It's surprising how much our supermarkets know about us.

One question. If supermarkets are identifying stolen cars, does this mean Auror has a feed of this info from Police?

They always use the same nonargument: "....honest customers have nothing to be concerned about."

Abusing or insulting supermarket staff is a no-go! Don't do it and be nice, peeps.
But facial scanning of all customers isn't the right solution.

When I went to write the #paknsave #hashtag it suggested #paknsavesecretsexroom and I have questions

While I'm all for buying local and all that, there is one thing that I absolutely refuse to buy if it's not from here, and that's oranges. Every time I used to get overseas oranges, they'd be crap, and I'd just go off citrus fruit for months at a time.

So this has been a rule in my life for a while now. But partner got duped into buying Aussie mandarins (the most expensive orangey thing there at $5/kg for #PaknSave....

Excuse me, why the fuck did #paknsavesecretsexroom just come up as a recommended hashtag?

Totally just came here to gloat about converting someone else to my strict localism on oranges stance.

But what? I'm gonna have to go an learn about that hashtag now. 😬

Meanwhile, from my first visit to #TheWarehouse's wide-ranging grocery section this week, I think the duopoly is already threatened here. #Feilding doesn't have a #PaknSave so I can't compare it with The #Warehouse but some of the #prices looked like serious #competition for #Countdown. I filled my shopping bag for the 20-minute trudge home.
