Thinking clearly today about the events that played out last night and I'm even more certain that no one should have to deal with what I experienced last night at PaitientFirst in Sterling, VA. If there wasn't a caring nurse (or tech, not sure what her actual role was) in the room things could have ended VERY badly. Doctors should understand panic attacks and know what not to do when someone is having one. If anyone has experience with state medical board complaints please let me know.
I do want to thank whoever that nurse was as well as WVU Berkeley in Martinsburg, WV who actually gave me the care that I needed and allowed me to wake up feeling better than I have in a long time. I'll regret the price tag later but that's another day's problem.
