#Performance is a bit #overrated when it comes to passing messages between #embedded nodes. I mean, most get by just fine with #serial ports talking at 115.2 kpbs or something like that.
But since people are curious about the #bandwidth of the T1S channel connecting ManT1S nodes, I decided to test raw #UDP performance using iperf.
9.12 Mbps out of the theoretical 10 Mbps, not too shabby! About 79x the bandwidth of your serial port connection!

People sometimes ask me whether I am doing something for my wife on Valentines day.
I say: well I'm cooking her a nice dinner. Then on Saturday we will go out on a date together when its a bit more convenient.
People think that's really lovely.
Little do they know that my wife never cooks, I cook dinner almost every night, and we go out for a date together almost every Saturday night for the last 8 years since we met.

CW: mother's day, vent / rant
Your annual reminder that not everyone wants to be:
* Reminded of their #mother
* Reminded that they -are- or -were- a mother
* Called a "mother" when they are a #Parent (non-binary, etc)
* Having the focus of a parent's 'role' in society yet again spotlighted on popping out babies.
And it's not for you to judge what, how, or why these things may be a trigger for someone, but they can be deep cuts, that's what matters.
Say Happy Mother's Day to your mom / sister / friends / family directly, if it's appropriate. DM them. Call them. Knock on their door. Send an email. Write a letter. Put up a smoke signal. But maybe avoid flooding the internet with triggering content for others.

Dunno why I hear so much about the #Bear app. At least on iOS it’s kinda crap - I don’t know if there’s a diff version for Macs but Obsidian absolutely craps on the Bear mobile app from a great height. Tried it for the first time tonight and uninstalled literally five mins later; even Taio is way better. #overrated

Buc-ee’s is indeed highly overrated. There I said it & I’m not taking it back. That being said, their dark roast coffee is actually really good & these stupid “Beaver Nuggets” are a bit addictive.
