Pedestrians don't have fatal collisions.
This person was struck and killed by a motor vehicle which was ostensibly under the "control" of another person.

Lets be careful out there.
I was almost hit by a car making a left turn into my crosswalk. I was crossing at an intersection, in a crosswalk, on my light.
If I had not been watching the vehicle travelling at speed making a left hand turn into my crosswalk I would be either dead or in an ambulance
I had to JUMP to get out of the way.
The driver, too late,realized and looked shocked.

Here's an #Ottawa traffic observation based on this morning's run and the walk to my meeting:
The larger the pickup truck, the more likely the driver is unable to control it in the road conditions today. It could be because the throttle settings appear to be 0% or 100%. 😳
