Mobile game idea: Real World Multiplayer Throw & Catch

Saw Kitsune at the #OttFringe Ottawa Fringe Theatre Festival, a story about the Japanese fox spirit, partly about its glowing soul gem which got lost after a game of catch with the audience. I came up with the idea of "throwing" light between phones. Add sound and you can come up with all sorts of game ideas.

I'm just surprised nobody has implemented it yet. Did I miss something?

I've updated my #FFVSO scheduling program with actual 2025 #OttFringe Ottawa Fringe Theatre Festival show run times, for the shows I've seen (now 25 shows!). That means you can schedule more accurately and not unexpectedly have to run between LabO and Nouvelle Scène theatres in 7 minutes (got in thanks to that new latecomer 7 minute admission rule).

I used it to make my schedule; hope to see 48 shows. Will I be able to remember 48 shows? Even if I don’t, it will be fun.

@jaybaltz Congrats on joining the extreme Fringer club! Not sure exactly how many #OttFringe theatre festival shows you have to see to be extreme, but 38 definitely counts!

I've updated the #FFVSO (https://www.agmsmith.ca/FFVSO/index.html) Fringe Theatre Festival Visitor Schedule Optimiser web page with the latest #OttFringe show cancellations, so you can use it to figure out your own schedule complexities.

Personally, I missed seeing Admission so that's one less show for my total, so my rival "That Walking Guy" could take the lead! But I'm planning to see The Merkin Sisters again to fill the gap. This time I don't have to take notes and can sit back and enjoy its weirdness.

Back from seeing Rotten Apple https://ottawafringe.com/show/rotten-apples/ at #OttFringe and was impressed by the way they brought social media on stage (backdrop projection and a sidekick character that says the important chat parts as a friend).

Topic was incel, with the chat club pushing the guy to invade a woman’s apartment - open window an invitation, etc. Much language to shape the group’s direction, by classifying people into a sexual framework. Quite a contrast with the woman’s art drawing stream and chat.
