My fiance is really into listening to old time radio programs - murder mysteries and crime thrillers from the late 1940's to the late 1980's. A lot of the stories are really great, and I've been absorbed into them as we drive around.
If you're interested, the site that provides them is called OTR Now, and they provide streams for four radio stations, 24/7. They also have archives where you can listen to specific programs by year. It's a wonderful site, and gives you insight into what life was like back then - from commercials and news briefs to strict adherance to the Hayes Code.
