Hab ja Ostersonntag Zeit also hab ich OpenXCOM Multiplayer nun auch auf meinem Retro-Computer "installiert" und versucht ein Spiel via LAN zu erstellen mit dem Notebook und siehe da es funktioniert 😃💪. Einige Mods funktionieren auch im LAN Spiel, welche genau werde ich noch herausfinden.

Guten Morgen und wie geil ist das denn bitte! Es gibt für OpenXCOM zwei Multiplayer Mods, einen als "Hotseat" und einen LAN Mod per Netzwerk 😃. Den LAN Mod habe ich gleich mal auf dem Notebook fertig gemacht, werd den noch auf meinem Retro-Spielerechner reinfummeln und das dann demnächst mal ausprobieren. Bin ich gespannt und erfreut zu gleich 🙂.

This is what the very first osgameclones.com looked like, in 2011-06-01, with a grand total of 7 games, compared to 1224 today.

The style and purpose haven't changed, and it's good that there are way more games now, but it's also harder to find things. Maybe better searching and filtering are needed?
Of these original 7 games, 5 are still going strong (#OpenTTD, #CorsixTH, #fheroes2, #VCMI, #OpenXCOM) which is incredible.

I can also recommend #openTTD to scratch the #TransportTycoon itch and #openRA for #CommandAndConquer, #RedAlert, #TiberianSun and #Dune2000 :)
Oh, and #openXCOM for the original #XCOM / #UFODefence and #TerrorFromTheDeep :)

- #openTTD for your #TransportTycoon needs
- #openXCOM for the classic #XCOM / #UFODefence suffering
- #Brogue for a colourful #roguelike
- #OneWayHeroics for a mix between a #rogueLite and an #ActionRPG, where you play a character from various classes who has to try to outrun the darkness swallowing up the world from the left, while gearing up and leveling up to eventually face the evil villain at the end.
