Ich hab gerade durchgezählt, habe 74 Kontakte auf #Signal.Die hab ich WEIL ich mit fast jeder SMS eine Einladung zu Signal mit verschickt hab. Geht ja per "Person zu Signal einladen).
#openwhispersystems macht hier mMn einen gigantischen fehler.
Auch die Begründung finde ich Quatsch.
Klar gibt's mit #SMS keine Privatsphäre, aber SMS brauche ich ja sowieso, wenn ich mit Leute. Außerhalb von Signal kommuniziere.Wenn es um Verwechslungen geht, könnten die gerne ein

Anyone else noted the irony of a guy who sells a company called "#WhisperSystems" to a corporation for a few million $, then starts a new company called #OpenWhisperSystems with a product call #Signal, then threatens to sue anyone who calls a fork something like #LibreSignal?

Premise #1: Truly secure systems don’t require trust.
Premise #2: The way Signal is operated and the app distributed requires users to trust #OpenWhisperSystems and Moxie.
Conclusion #1: Signal is not a truly secure system
Conclusion #2: I discourage anyone needing secure communications from using it
