    While building a Rails-compatible API app with Marten, I found some abandoned open-source projects. They provide a strong foundation, but I have a question:

    I modified the code and plan to submit a PR, but many PRs have been stagnant for years. Will mine get merged? If the maintainer is inactive, how can the project move forward? What’s the usual process in open source?

    あと #Fefiverse はとくに性質上仕方ないのかも知れないけど、サブスクという言葉に過敏すぎる（ように自分には感じる）反応が多くて、もう少しポジティブな視点もほしい、、ってなっている。

    まあ、買収主の #Canva のサービスを鑑みれば、 #Affinity がサブスクになる可能性は少なくないと自分も思うけど、買い切りのままビジネス的に立ち行かなくなって #Affinity がなくなるくらいならサブスクになれば良いと自分は思ってる。

    何が何でも買い切りを続けろ、ビジネスが立ち行かなくなったときは #Affinity も #OOS として公開すればいい、みたいなのは、「なるべく無料で使いたいユーザー」からみればそれで良いのかもしれないけど、他の #OSS 界隈のデザイン関連のソフトウェアを見れば、そんな簡単な話じゃないとおもうよ？というのが自分の印象。
