De ahí que producciones audiovisuales independientes caigan en dejes comunes buscando gustar en un segmento de la audiencia y/o en jurados de festivales, el esterotipo de las películas Sundance, por detectable, sería el ejemplo fácil.
El audiovisual es un arte en general caro y complicado de costear, y del amor al arte no se vive. Se necesita un retorno mínimo, pecuniario o social, para rodar la siguiente.
La ópera prima de Julia de Castro, On the Go, ya en plataformas, está hecha por el gusto de experimentar, desde el amor al arte que homenajea un cine hoy desprolijo, incluso en el indie, referenciando al indomable Gonzalo García Pelayo.
Un placer que obedece a la necesidad artística, al gasto.
Esta descarada (el mejor adjetivo) road movie barra buddy movie, rodada en 4:3 y con una duración súper indie de apenas una hora, presenta a personajes perdidos, sin prisa, distrayendo la mente por los caminos arenosos y dorados del sur y sus embrujos oníricos donde la música fusión siempre está on.
Sin argumento férreo, comprometida solo con el mundito que crea (<<Todo va de ti, ¿no?>>), la cinta, de bellas actuaciones naturalistas por parte de Ayuso y de Castro, ofrece amistades tan inefables como irrompibles, apariciones de extraños que no lo parecen, desnudos, introspección, con una lógica propia tal cual ocurría con Dorothy durante el tránsito por el empedrado amarillo.
Si te empapas del duende del maestro García Pelayo debe ser sin salvavidas. Como estos personajes sin mapa que no renuncian al futuro sino que se mueven para encontrarse, para madurar, y que aun careciendo de brújula se tienen mutuamente.

Plants at the Zoo
Last weekend we went to the Frankfurt Zoo and of course I took my camera with me. I decided to go with the Fujifilm X-Pro1 and Konica Hexanon 28mm F3.5 lens. With a crop factor of 1.5 the 28mm lens is a 42mm lens equivalent. I really like the 28mm F3.5 both on my analog cameras as well as on the X-Pro1 or Canon EOS 1000D.
