The Friday vinyl haul this week is all secondhand and all from our favourite Magyar prog rockers Omega. On Tour is actually a compilation of English language cuts on a (west) German label, put out to promote their tour for the 1977 Omega 7 album, while Babylon is a 1987 release. Both as ever score very high with their outlandish cover art.

For a long time I have been looking for a midsize (36mm) Omega Seamaster for my small wrist. Omega stopped making midsize versions years ago. Now it is just 41mm and 42mm.
I originally wanted the "Bond" one with light blue aluminum bezel insert but that scratches very easily so it is very hard to find one in a good condition.
I found one with steel bezel for a good price and could not resist.
For a 20-25 years old watch it still looks very good, no big scratches or over-polishing and more importantly it still runs well so no servicing needed for now.

Went to “SPACE” - a six course tasting menu at Six By Nico in Birmingham.
We’ve been there a few times for other menus and it’s always been incredible.
Naturally I had to wear a space themed watch. Speedmaster ftw!
Also fun fact: I bought this watch exactly 50 years to the day of the moon landing :)
