#RyanHall #SevereWeather #Flooding #OHwx #INwx
From Ryan Hall Y’all on FB: Ohio and Indiana just moved up to WPC's Moderate flood risk category for tomorrow, one step above where the outlook had them sitting this morning.
That upgrade covers roughly 3.6 million people, including Columbus, Dayton, Springfield, Muncie, and Lima. WPC's Moderate category is built around a 40% or higher chance that rain rates in that area outrun what the drains and small creeks can carry off. If storms line up and repeat over that region tomorrow, that's the kind of setup that turns an ordinary summer rain into fast flooding on low roads and underpasses. Worth building some slack into your Saturday plans if you're heading through that part of Ohio or Indiana.

#RyanHall #SevereWeather #Tornado #OHwx #ILwx #IAwx #INwx
From Ryan Hall Y’all on FB: The most likely spot in the country for a tornado tomorrow sits around Columbus, Toledo, and Fort Wayne, Indiana. A storm system sliding across the Great Lakes and down into the Ohio Valley could spin up an isolated tornado or two along with it, and this comes in as Level 1 on the tornado risk scale, the lowest category SPC uses.

Rough night. My backup generator that takes over power in a power failure at my home failed after 8 hours of faithful operation.
My feeding tube pump had enough battery backup to finish the night. It discharged quicker than it should have so I need to call and get a replacement battery pack. We had a supply of oxygen tanks that don't require electricity but I will have to call to get them restocked. Will need to see if they can add an extra tank or two to the inventory.
Luckily, AEP got our power restored not long ago. It was out for around 17 hours.
The service code on the unit leads to a problem with the engine. I hope it isn't very expensive to fix... always something. #Ohio #Weather #Derecho #OHWX

After these really intense storms yesterday, I realized I need to keep a portable ham radio at my desk at work, instead of only having the one in my car at work

3/ Home now. Home area got hit hard. Below is a video of where we got gas this morning. There was a tractor trailer on its side close to home where it was toppled over. All of Penny's corn that was planted, 6 large raised beds worth, which had green beans growing up them are gone. uprooted and sent elsewhere. She is doing a walk-around of the house now. Cats started purring as soon as we came in the door, glad we are home. Our construction "garbage" pile was sent elsewhere. Lot of debris. The neighbors picked it all up (it was mostly in their yards) and had it all loaded on the back of a trailer ready for the dump. They were very upset about the damage to our yard and garden because it has come a long, more upset about that than the dump pile being spread out. Overall, we were blessed and in good condition. #PaulsYard. #Ohwx #wx #Ohio #Weather https://www.wlwt.com/article/brown-county-gas-station-video-storms-warning/73407928
