#NXP s i.MX W93 seems to be quite nice toy.
It is ARM MPU with 2xA55 @1.7GHz plus 1x CM33 @450MHz
It has integrated 2.4GHz radio capable of #wifi6 #BT LE5.4 and 15.4 stuff (#zigbee / #thread)

Major drawback is it needs external DRAM so someone ( @olimex ? 😇 ) needs to create modules...

BTW why is no one adding some minimal amount of dram into MPUs package?

@23n27 But what if I told you that pub-key authentication for EV charging was initially defined in in 2020 with VDE-AR-E 2532-100, where the card proves the authenticity of the *UID* (yes, sorry!) by signing a challenge with its key-pair (signed by the manufacturer).

And NXP had the DESFire EV2-J, a compatible card, since around 2022, but only in homeopathic quantities?

And that you will have to replace MILLIONS OF CARDS and THOUSANDS OF READERS before you can enforce this?

Maybe the esp is broken? Try swapping with a spare one if you have it.

Of course *right now* there's a concern about fake Nexperia chips in the channel, as china is blocking their export to hurt european car manufacturers. There an alert out from a German manufacturers group about this. Probably only an issue if you purchased a few boxes of reels yesterday off AliExpress.

#ZephyrOS has a pretty cool http server demo that runs out of the box on many of the supported boards. It can even toggle the LED used in the blinky demo through the browser. It drove my crazy that on my mimxrt1060-evk, the network always lost connection when the LED was toggled. After some unsuccessful debug attempts and #wireshark traces, I finally downloaded the schematics and took a look 🙈
