An area 85,000sq km, that goes by three names: 19th-century whalers called it #NorthWater; Kalaallit (Inuit of Greenland) call it Pikialasorsuaq, or “the great upwelling”; and to the Inuit of Nunavut, it is Sarvarjuaq, “the place that never freezes”.
