the heatwave in socal seems to be slowly fading off and we return to slightly more normal temps monday.
i try to avoid shipping during heatwaves since i ship the sauce frozen, so if you were on the fence before, consider that the fence is prolly uncomfortable.

Just got my #nopesauce and tried it on some chicken bites. Can confirm it's the good stuff! I really like the unique personality the chorizo seasoning blend gives it. I can tell this would be absolutely killer on tacos! Can't wait to try it on some!

I hope everyones orders made it safely, and that the sauce didnt split or go weird or anything. my bottle of spiked more or less went straight into the fridge and ive been putting it on all sorts of stuff. its ... not .. timid. -

there was juuuuust shy of one 2oz bottle left of the spiked variant, so i filled up a bottle to the like, 4/5ths mark and it lives in the fridgei like this version way way better than the previous ones. Im comfortable saying this the best batch yet. it's gonna be chorizo pineapple from here on, and HOOBOY is the spiked one punchy!
im putting it on everything and a little goes a very long way

so uhh
pretty sure that our new in-house chorizo blend spice powder is gonna be the new combine repellant flavor. we have soooo muuuch of it and i barely used any of the ancho powder. im gonna make a mountain of this stuff -

my hands are kinda on fire from cleaning the pressure cooker after its hull breach. there was a tear in the rubber seal in the lid, so the pressure got let out and a bunch of manzano goo made it places the goo is not supposed to go.
im gonna log some arc raiders time and hopefully not get ratted, but today we're gonna do the redsauce cook, which is the final piece. so we bottle either today or tomorrow

I think we have enough peppers and pineapple puree to do a cook. but I'm basically out of bottles.i went to go look at reupping - the supplier I use flat out quit selling bottles. I found the same type of bottle from another supplier, but they do not have 4oz bottles *at all*
its 2oz and 8oz, and thats it.
which i guess is good, because what I have left in the freezer from the old stock are a bunch of 4oz bottles

Here are the baked cookies... They were baked in 3 batches, the first of which didn't spread quite as nicely. But the next 2 batched spread and cracked so prettily!
I just ate one and I'm very pleased. Good spice and molasses flavour with a nice tingly warmth from the #NopeSauce 🥰
