It irks me more than should when a company has a line of products (looking at you Apple and Ecoflow) where they have a model called “Max” … and yet it’s not the most powerful.

This is the most bizarre case of #NominativeDeterminism I've ever come across: an 18th Century French spy whose surname means "Strawberry" brings back from Chile a variety of strawberry which, when crossed with another new world strawberry and an existing hybrid, produces the strawberry which is the variety most commonly cultivated today.
Frézier's ancient surname was derived from fraise, the French word for strawberry.
The garden strawberry was first bred in Brittany, France, in the 1750s via a cross of F. virginiana from eastern North America and F. chiloensis, which was brought from Chile by Amédée-François Frézier in 1714. Cultivars of F. × ananassa have replaced the woodland strawberry F. vesca in commercial production.
