  1. Some refs would call that incomplete, because Flowers didn't take enough steps or make enough of a football move before the ball popped out. Seems almost random.

  2. In the NBA that's blocking.
In normal football that's maybe illegal contact on the defense, more often a non-call.
Only when the side judge's 4 year old son had Frosted Flakes for breakfast instead instead of Pop Tarts is that OPI.

  3. So a receiver is not allowed to run his route? The refs screwed up at every turn.

  4. So Lions O-Lineman blinks wrong and it's 5 yards. Eagles O-Linemen dance the Macarana, yesterday, and it's ok.

  5. This is one reason refereeing in the NFL is broken. I think DPI is the right call there. But whether it gets called seems to depend on the time of day or what the lead ref's wife had for breakfast that morning.

  6. They call an illegal shift for a guy not being set for a full second but not all the tight ends and wideouts moving forward at the snap?

  7. Regarding intentional grounding, the NFL confirmed they should not have called intentional grounding against the Commanders a couple weeks ago when Daniels threw the ball way over the head but in the direction of a receiver.

Caleb Williams just got flagged for intentional grounding for throwing the ball way over the head but (IMO) in the direction of a receiver.

  8. No effin' way. Blocked FG attempts returned for TDs in two different games 10 minutes apart.

  9. New rule.

When the Offense lines up without huddling:
    - The Offense cannot begin substituting players after the play clock hits 30 seconds.
    - The Defense is allowed time to make matching substitutions, but these must be completed before the play clock hits 10 seconds.
    - Once the play clock hits 10 seconds, the Offense will be allowed the snap the ball even if the Defense is still substituting.

    Good idea? Bad idea? Suggestions?

    Boosts would be appreciated.
