It is the turning of the year. To me, the Winter Solstice is a reminder that, even in the darkest hour, the sun will return.

Well, the weather wasn't that cooperative. You could see a bit of a beam a little late in the time window.

However, they did play the footage they recorded in 2020 when the tomb was sealed (during early pandemic) and the weather was good for it.

I think the date on the titles is a typo, though. #NewgrangeSolstice #WinterSolstice #Ireland #NeolithicArt
