On a beautiful road bike ride this morning.
Monterey (CA) and Pacific Grove on the peninsula across the Monterey Bay looking south east from New Brighton State Beach.
Imagine how much better the world would be if politicians, corporate executives, and pretty much everyone got out on a day like this for a bike ride, a run, a dog walk, or simply a leisurely stroll in the morning sunshine.

"September swim" - First dip this month. Fresh but not cold. Epic waves. Good fun. Looking forward to the dawn mornings later in the year. Going to be ace. Do wish I had a decent waterproof case for my camera. Currently using luck. They’re so expensive, but you get fascinating photos. These are iPhone in a simple pouch.

From 120 metres up you get a real sense of the complexity of the River Mersey. Low tide reveals all the sandbanks and the narrow channel for boats to enter the river. Totally fascinating. #drone #photography #newbrighton
