It's horrible. I think back to how I almost got into programming in 6th grade, but I couldn't figure out how to run it. It wasn't till grad school that I really got into programming. I've gotten much better, but I am still finding areas where I can ask for help more.

I just came across the book Never Search Alone by Phyl Terry, https://www.neversearchalone.org/. It recommends that job seekers form job search councils of peers to help each other with the search process. It makes a ton of sense to me!

Companies have teams of people. To balance things out seekers should have teams too.

I need to learn more about it, but I'm interested in joining or forming a job search council.

Said goodbye to my #JobSearchCouncil today, after many months of meeting regularly. Three of the group are still looking for work (or are in a period of taking a break/not even trying any more). Brutal.
