A part of me want the heatwave to last a bit longer until the gov is forced to take immediate action and start moving towards #NetNegative instead of #NetZero. Such a move will leave a lot of oligarchs butthurt, so I guess no.

Dejligt. Vi er naturligvis enige om. at 2030-målet kun er et delmål, og at en klimapolitik, som sigter imod alt andet end net negative er uambitiøs.

Also, and I repeat myself, #NetZero is unambitious. We need to actively reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. We need #NetNegative.This is not utopianism, it's basic realism.

@Leisureguy @GreenFire we need #netnegative, and we need it now. Anyone who advocates #netzero is saying they are content with the current amount of climate breakdown.

The balloon in the last panel is misleading. It should read:"we'll get around to stop making it worse by 2050, or maybe 2060, or maybe..."

Also, we know that the climate crisis will be with us for the rest of our lives, so there's no reacting too early or doing too much to stop emissions or mitigate effects. All policy is climate policy, and the only acceptable emission standard is net negative.
