I coined the name #Botiquette for this exact purpose, knowing about #Netiquette from the old days of the internet/web.

At the time I encouraged plenty discussion, but a lot of it happened on fedi and is now long lost in timeline history.

Wow... diesmal hat es mich nicht mal drei Minuten gekostet und schon wieder wurde ich wieder von einem dieser, angeblich "linken", Spinner unfreundlich geblockt. Dabei hab ich einfach nur kurz meine politische Meinung gesagt und dabei sogar einen Grünen verteidigt. Wie geistig eingeschränkt muss man als Mensch eigentlich sein, dass man JEDE, der eigenen Meinung nicht zustimmende, Stimme sofort und ohne Diskussion blockieren muss?

Ich persönlich würde niemals einen Menschen blockieren, nur weil mir seine Meinung nicht gefällt. Da wären soziale Medien doch einfach langweilig und sinnlos, wenn ich nur noch mit Leuten spreche, denen ich zustimme. Man kann ja widersprechen, wenn man es wichtig findet.

PSA: if all you ever post is screenshots of other people's viral posts, but you omit the Alt-text, and you cannot be bothered to edit your post to add Alt-text even after other people comment to supply the Alt-text, then you're an absolute shit-heel and deserve to be blocked.
