@EricPaulDennis @CrackedWindscreen The #AEB mandates are problematic because, while there are numerous studies that show downstream safety benefits and the control relationship supports a clear safety case, #NCAP is woefully inadequate to assess these systems - particularly on the matter of phantom breaking (overly sensitive systems).
Vehicles may score well on the very limited and tightly-controlled NCAP assessments, but display troubling characteristics in the field.
