In the musical, the song is sung by the characters Anita and Maria. For the #originalBroadwayCastRecording, the song was performed by #ChitaRivera (Anita) and #CarolLawrence (Maria). In the #1961FilmVersion the roles were played by #RitaMoreno and #NatalieWood, but the songs were dubbed by #BettyWand.
