Hey y'all!
It's a bittersweet Monday today.

My beloved truck sits where I had an appointment this afternoon, unwilling to start or be put into neutral, so it can't be towed . . . Ford, you owe me one.

My weekend was great! I was basking in the glow from the lovely Buffalo NASFiC. Great panels, plus a fun poker game (with Phil Foglio!) and other friends all weekend.

I managed to get on the road at 2:15 am, make it to Winnipeg, find parking, get checked in, get my badge, figure out the Wi-Fi, and find the room for my 11:30 #NASFIC/#PemmiCon panel--The Disappearance of Man--with Julie Czerneda and Electra Hammond. Yay, me.

Have bought memberships/acquired hotel rooms for #WorldFantasy and the #Nebulas. Those _may_ be my only in-person convention appearances this year, which is…weird but also kinda relaxing?

(I miss #DragonCon, but at that size, and after last year’s mask fiasco, I’m still hesitant to return)
