The #Nankai #Rapi:d #train from #Osaka to Kansai Airport is possibly my favourite train in Japan.

Not just because of its design; but also because this is the train we'd always take when going to the airport and abroad. Boarding this train is, to me, always the start of an adventure.

In response to the Nankai Trough alert (alert from Japanese authorities about a potential massive earthquake-tsunami originating in the Nankai Trough), a Japanese Twitter user pointed out that you can give the Nankai Trough a Google review, and that everyone should just go give it good reviews until it settles down (currently it has a 4.6).

Last time the #Nankai trough ruptured over its full length was in 1707 with a Mw 8.7 #earthquake. Based on historical evidence, these type of events seem to occur every 400-500 years, with smaller events in-between that rupture a part of the fault.
