Signs of progress on the next #Alaska787 (787-9 line number 1340, reg #N785HA) at the Boeing Charleston factory:
* ADS-B pings from its assigned transponder code were observed last week. So it was powered on and the transponder was tested.
* FAA registration on N785HA changed from reserved by Hawaiian Airlines last week to owned by Boeing Commercial Airplanes when I checked now. That step is probably required before painting.
This will be Alaska's 6th 787-9.
