*My Awkward Senpai* was fairly good this week as Azusa accidentally tells her mother she has a boyfriend - who doesn't exist. Her mother just happens to be visiting so Azusa asks Yu to act as her boyfriend. A fairly typical set up, but it works out, more so cause her mother saw right through it but gave him a little boost since she can see Azusa trusts him. #anime #MyAwkwardSenpai

My Awkward Senpai Episode 1 Impressions
First off, not entirely sold on how the characters look overall. Sometimes it looks good and other times it feels off. It's really odd.
Other than that, this seems like it's gonna be a super cute senpai and kohai office rom-com. Kannawan is adorable.
The opening theme song is a banger tho. Got some strong 80s vibes from it.
Wonder how this holds up for a whole season. I'll definitely check out another couple episodes before making a Decision.

Curious what comes of My Awkward Senpai though, the senpai is really quite gorgeous, and I kind of love how illustrative her eyes are and how they tie in with her earrings. #MyAwkwardSenpai
