For over 17 years, Electronic Music Lovers Group has been supporting independent electronic music through its record labels and associated projects.
Now we’re taking another step forward with EML Sync, a dedicated service working to bring music from independent artists to music supervisors, production companies, advertising agencies and specialist synchronisation partners.

60%The majority of eligible sync licensing income goes to the artists and rights holders.
EML SYNC
40%Our agreed commission for sourcing, negotiating and administering qualifying sync licences.
✓ No upfront joining fees.
✓ You retain ownership of your music and copyrights.
✓ Existing streaming and download royalties remain unchanged.
✓ Participation is optional.
The 60/40 allocation applies to qualifying licensing fees for rights authorised under the EML Sync agreement. Third-party rights and existing contractual entitlements must be respected.
Already Have a Publisher? No Problem.
One of the most important things we want artists to understand is that EML Sync is not designed to replace or interfere with existing publishing agreements.
We want to work alongside existing publishers, record labels and rights holders wherever possible, creating additional opportunities without disrupting established relationships.
If you’re unsure whether your current agreement allows you to participate, we’re happy to speak directly with your publisher, with your permission, to explore possible collaboration and obtain any necessary authorisations.
What We’ll Need From You
We’re building a professional, sync-ready music catalogue that gives our artists the strongest possible presentation to music supervisors and potential licensing partners.
- High-quality WAV masters – Final mastered recordings.
- Instrumental versions – Particularly useful for film, television and advertising.
- Stems and alternative mixes – Drums, bass, synths, vocals and other key elements where available.
- Acapellas and lyric sheets – For tracks containing vocals.
- Artist biography – A short professional introduction and career background.
- Press photos and artwork – High-resolution promotional materials.
- Track metadata – Genre, BPM, key, mood, themes and descriptions.
- Artist achievements – Notable chart positions, DJ support, radio exposure and previous placements.
- Copyright information – Composers, songwriters, publishers, master owners and rights splits.
- Rights clearance – Information on samples, covers, remixes, vocals and third-party permissions.
- AI-use disclosure – Accurate information about any AI-generated elements where relevant.
Don’t worry — you don’t need to supply everything immediately!
Initially, we simply want to hear from interested artists. We’ll explain the agreement, review the relevant music and guide you through the information required as the catalogue develops.
