Mir macht #MTGArena gerade weniger Spaß als sonst. #MTGONE als Draft Format packt mich nicht so recht, dementsprechend wenige (9) Drafts hab ich gezockt, zwar 2x mit 7:x aber auch 3x 0:3. Und Toxic kann ich langsam nicht mehr sehen.
Standard bedeutet eigentlich, dass man die meiste Zeit von Mono-Rot verprügelt wird bzw. Gegner gleich conceden, wenn man selbst on the play Mono-Rot zockt.
Muss mich vielleicht doch mal an Explorer oder Brawl wagen.

Another nice draft/commander night at the bar tonight! Drafted an Abzan toxic deck ft. Sorely and Thrun, and managed a respectable 2-1 record:
Vs WR Equipment: 2-0
Vs BR Aggro/Lots of removal: 0-2
Vs WUB Toxic Control: 2-0Had a great time hanging with friends new and old.

Made this one a while ago. Tamiyo is still my favourite planeswalker, but man ... why does so much bad stuff happen to my favourites? First my boy Dovin gets killed and now this. Oh well. Glory to Phyrexia, I guess. :)

I know at some point in the design stage the Phyrexian domini were going to be gods, but Wizards had second thoughts (probably to avoid a debate about how they fit in with Yawgmoth and Elesh Norn's church). I don't get calling them horrors though.
Lore-wise it would have made more sense to type them as avatars or incarnations, no?

A nice return to form for me at the weekly bar draft tonight. Ended up in a fairly reasonable but not amazing UR oil deck, and managed a 2-1 record:
Vs WR Equipment: 0-2
Vs BR Steal&Sac: 2-0
Vs WGu Ramp/Jace/Nissa 2-1Had a great time with friends hanging out and playing games. I beat the resolved Jace too!

How many Planar Disruptions is too many? Turns out to be more than 5. (And I did pass one, too! Took the Slaughter Singer over it P3P4.)

Another crossover between #MagictheGathering and Octopath Traveler just in time for the release of #MTGONE !
The set looks great, especially on an aesthetic level. Elesh Norn and her faction embody the horror of Phyrexia perfectly.

Looks like free 3-pack codes are officially gone on Arena.
Posted about this before when the BRO Alchemy set dropped, but it looks like with #MTGONE it's officially the end for free three-pack codes when sets release.

Pool looked pretty medium, but had a lot of 2 drops and removal, so I’ve decided on an aggro list in sealed haha. Let’s see how this prerelease goes!

highlights from my first #MagicTheGathering pre-release ever for #MTGONE :
- built a white/black deck with a corrupted-ish theme featuring ~7 one drops and ~8 two drops (too lazy to go back and count)
- went 1-2 and finished every match w/ >20 minutes to spare
- All Will Be One prize pack erroneously had an og Dominaria card (Wizard's Retort, which. there's a WoTC joke in here somewhere)
- got a Dominaria United promo pack as an LGS prize and cracked a foil Sheoldred!! -
