  1. OK, so there are some tech people around here, maybe someone can help with a problem I've run into.

    I use #MPICH2 on Windows 11 Pro to run a piece of analytical software. After setting up my shiny new i9-12900K workstation, I noticed that I wasn't getting past 50% CPU usage even when running on every core (previously this would easily have been at 100%). The new computer is actually running problems slower than the old one.

    Anyone have an idea what might be happening , or how to fix it?
