HBC BRIGADES JOURNAL, 1826:
"Although the Horses were crossed early in the Morning, yet before they were caught, tacked & loaded it was Eleven o'clock, & we therefore were not able to proceed farther than the Monté #MonteCreek where we Encamped. For want of Cords to tie them with, I had to leave about 1100 Salmon, with a few Appichimons [Equipment] & Pack, saddles at #Kamloops, which were put in charge of an Indian called Nicholas, who is said to be an honest fellow... #HistoricJourney #Books
