Life and death come at us fast. It seems like years ago when Melissa Hortman ceded the Speakership to Lisa Demuth when the Minnesota House was evenly divided. But it was only last year!

Now Demuth, who lost the governor's race, is demoted and Hortman is deceased.

Enjoy every sunrise.
