In trying to undersand why the world is going to shit, we have discovered why the upper echelons of corporate management (and large institutional investors) are all in on #LLM-based #GenAISlop applications (#Enshitification personified). They’ve all succumbed to #AIPsychosis, assuredly a neurological condition with built-in #Denialism, with the only known cure being #Insolvency followed by #StockMarketCrash and global #EconomicCollapse.
In parallel, the question that is really bugging me is: why do #RightWing nut jobs keep banging their heads against a wall? Do they suffer from a similar type of neurological impairment? I originally thought they were all motivated to behave like they do because of particular unresolved character flaws that I conflatingly call ‘victimhood’. A self flagellation of the soul. A longing to be confirmed martyrs and pitied as such while raging at the world as the cause of their affliction — the circulatity is staggering. A condition recently appearing to be of epidemic proportion.
An article in #NewPolitics (Eddy Jokovich) has another explanation from the political perspective: A craving for limelight and a fundamental propensity to be lazy;
“…rather than developing policies for Australia’s actual economic, social and environmental challenges, the Australian right wants to import a prefab Trump–Farage–CPAC culture war that has never borne any electoral fruit in the past. So why do they keep doing it? Because it’s cheaper than developing the serious policy work, it’s far more angry than decent democratic debate, and it’s a lot easier than governing competently.” (NOTE: I have reservations about the claim of electoral ineffectiveness)

I prefer to think the old saying has it right: that making the same mistake over and over again without changing/learning anything is a positive maker for utter insanity.

Настройка Git для одновременного fetch/push в несколько remotes. Синхронизация одной командой
Прим: Дополняет мою статью "Скрипт полной миграции из GitLab на свой сервер" . После успешной миграции А что делать со старым репозиторием? Было бы логично использовать GitLab и другие хостинги в качестве вторичных (запасных). Но как это делать? И еще не вручную? Для синхронизации с remotes одновременно на свой Gogs и на все GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, ... remotes, об этом и других "хаках" ниже:

Скрипт полной миграции из GitLab на свой сервер и настройка Git для одновременного fetch/push в несколько remotes
1. Что сделал? Переехал с GitLab на свой сервер, написал свой python-скрипт, который мигрирует не просто все репозитории, но и настройки, описания, картинки(done) и мердж/пулл-реквесты(in-progress). Бонусом настроил простой git fetch/push одновременно на все GitLab, GitHub, ... remotes. 2. Зачем? Локальный сервис независим от РКН, КВН, "чебурнета" и гео-блокировки аккаунта, бэкап под контролем, без опасения утечек из облаков по независящим причинам. 3. Как? Когда у тебя несколько десятков pet-проектов на Gitlab/Github, для каждого копи-пастить git clone/push --mirror со многими параметрами и вручную копаться в web интерфейсах откровенно "скучно и лениво". В статье: поиск решения по полной миграции, комментарии по коду и настройки скрипта. Вторую часть по мульти git fetch/push оформляю Гуглил похожие решения, не нашел. В итоге написал свое.

It is quite frustrating that I cannot screen mirror from a linux machine to a television in any user-friendly way. My TV supports miracast directly, and has an appletv connected that will accept airplay. I've tried many programs such as MKChromecast, UxPlay, and even casting directly from Chromium browser. I have yet to find a workable solution to being able to mirror the display from a Linux Mint PC to an AppleTV. I hear that UxPlay is supposed to do it, but so far I’ve not had any luck.

Собственный Terraform registry network mirror
Дело было пятничным вечером, делать было нечего. Меня давно посещала идея написать свой софт для реализации terraform registry mirror, так как по мнению западных компаний мы живем в "неправильной" стране, поэтому доступ к ресурсам нам можно ограничить. Видимо opensource это кого надо opensource. На работе где-то год или полтора назад, столкнулись с ситуацией, когда зеркало яндекса ( https://terraform-mirror.yandexcloud.net/ ) было недоступно продолжительное время, а работу работаь было нужно сейчас. Для решения данной проблемы был найдет проект https://github.com/straubt1/terraform-network-mirror , который позволил загрузить провайдеров и бинарники, и хостить их черезх ObjectStorage yandexcloud. Но у такого способа есть несколько неприятных особенностей: - Нет фильтра по версиям. По умолчанию update скрипт выгребает все доступные версии и чтобы как-то ограничить количество загрузок, приходится вручную править список. - Для загрузки приходится локально подключать vpn и выполнять все необходимые операции. - Чтобы все работало автоматически, нужно еще поверх этого набора скриптов накатать свою реализацию: связь с внешним vpn, фильраю версии и тд Недавно вышла новость https://habr.com/ru/news/941500/ про добавление в редактор zed ИИ, и тут меня посетило вдохновение на создание pet-проекта. Писать о том "как с помощью ИИ написать свой сайт без знания языка" я не буду, таких статей на Хабре уже пруд пруди. Поэтому расскажу о сложностях с которым столкнулся, как не профессиональный разработчик, а как DevOps-инженер реализовавший тулзу для решения конкретной задачи.
